Reactivity & Behaviour Issues
Do you dread going on walks with your dog or avoid having people over to your home because of something your dog might do? I promise you are not alone!
I’m here to help!
A reactive dog can mean a whole variety of behaviour issues. It can mean a dog that barks and lunges at people, dogs, bikes or cars on walks. It can also mean a dog that barks and becomes very stressed with guests coming into the home. It can even be a dog that might growl or snap at someone over food or a toy they have. It is a term that really just means your dog has an overreaction to something.
When you have a dog that is reactive, it can be very stressful for you, and often your dog as well, to get through a regular routine. It can sometimes feel like no one really gets to know your dog because these issues get in the way from anyone else getting to know the funny, sweet, silly and the best sides of your pet.
I work with clients and their dogs with these issues to build confidence and understanding around what’s going on. We work on building understanding of your dog’s language and how to teach them to be a calm and confident pet.

How it Works
I come to your home so you have one on one attention for you and your dog as you learn.
In the consultation, we go over what is going on and set some goals for you and your dog. Every dog is different, so every training plan will be different. We will also cover some management methods if needed to keep you and your dog safe and you sane until we can begin training.
In the lessons we will work on skills that will build your dog’s confidence and teach calm in their behaviour issue situations, as well as teaching you what to do if they do get triggered.
This package includes:
1 consultation
4 private lessons
Each lesson comes with personal notes on what we worked on in the lesson for you to keep and review anytime you need!
